	Distortion Series considers what it means to create and digitize an image. Photography and moving pictures has long been known to produce a biased version of the scene they are depicting. As our media becomes more image focused and the way we digest our media allows it to be more accessible, it results in the importance of scrutinizing the biases inherent to photography and other image making processes. Distortion series does this by placing an emphasis on the manipulation that goes into digitizing and curating images, showing hands and fingers from the artist– highlighting the person behind the images.

107 Attempts to destroy the intangible looks at what it means to create and destroy the essense of an image. By repeatedly copying the image on the Xerox machine we see both the destruction of the original image, and the creation of a new form that is more abstract than concrete.

	Screen GAN is a collection of images gathered from a General Advisarial Network (GAN), then screen printed onto archival paper. The process of screen printing is reminiscent of how GANs work in that they both go through layers of finalizing or filtering to acheive their final results. Screen GAN focuses on the imperfections of the two processes highlighting the humans behind the creation of the images and processes.

By using clips from The Price is Right, ONEDOLLARANHOUR highlights this placement of arbitrary value by focusing on the way contestants on the show guess these values as a culmination of their knowledge of labour costs, marketing, and perceived value.
